Thermodynamic Simulation and Transformation Behaviours of Lead during Iron Ore Sintering

Lead (Pb) increases the corrosion rate of refractory lining in blast furnaces. The iron ore sintering process plays a vital role decreasing lead content feeding materials for In this paper, compounds raw blend and sinter product were leached out sequentially classified into four categories. blend, PbS accounted about 66.25% 23.57% was found as PbO. While product, main PbSO4, PbO·Fe2O3 transformation removal behaviours simulated via Factsage7.1 tube furnace tests. It confirmed Pb could be removed forms PbCl2, metallic PbO during process. industry 49.77%. While, with increasing carbon to 15%, over 93% lab. addition, maximum temperature CaO properly also enhance lead.
